Dearest Mother Nature

Dearest Mother Nature,

We want to thank you for the snow this year, you have really done a bang up job. But we have one concern. Location. It seems that you are tired of hauling all the snow across the country.  We understand, we really do.  Millions of years of putting that fluffy white stuff around the planet.

Thank you.

But, the Pacific Northwest seems to have been a little ignored.  The North East of the American continent has received more than their fair share of snow.  Our skiers and snow boarders are feeling a little left out.   Our beautiful mountain ranges haven’t received much snow this year.

New England is thinking about building igloos, they also worry about polar bear relocation.  Did you drop enough snow to accommodate the bear’s needs? Then of course will there be thick enough ice for the penguins that are headed north?

It would be very nice if you could let us know if some of the humans should move to Middle America, buy up enough land for when the climate change occurs.  Will that be this century or next?

I do believe there are a couple other areas that would really appreciate at least half that snow on their mountains, Texas, California, I am sure there are more.

I want to thank you for the bluest skies you ever see in Seattle. It really is a beautiful day.
